RoasterCup, Scrioo, and LeaseryT are among the 15 standout graduates of the « Fit 4 Start #16 » acceleration programme. From digitizing the artisan economy to AI-driven risk monitoring and fleet automation, these tech innovators are redefining their industries. We caught up with the founders to discuss their breakthroughs, international ambitions, and how Luxembourg’s premier incubator propelled them to the next level.

Ecorama Luxembourg: Can you explain to us what RoasterCup is?

Yacine Turki: There is an accelerating shift overall, with people consuming more artisanal alternatives over industrial food products. If you look at what’s behind this shift, it’s really the huge number of artisans launching every year, powering all these various food categories—whether it’s coffee, tea, chocolate, artisanal beer, and so on. The number of artisans is growing exponentially. However, at some point, most of them quickly maximize their reach within their own neighborhoods but then really struggle to go beyond their local markets and scale their operations.

RoasterCup was built to address this. The core of our solution is a tech-logistic platform that enables direct artisan-to-customer delivery. The beauty of it is that, beyond the fast delivery, there is no inventory liability behind it. What really keeps these artisans away from existing marketplaces like Amazon today is that the standard operating and supply chain models simply don’t suit them. So, we are building this infrastructure layer for them.

We are matching this with a high-growth marketplacewhich is open to both B2B and B2C customers. Essentially, these customers can now access a standardized, digitalized market and shop across all these different artisans with a seamless delivery experience.

E.L: How many clients do you have now?

Y.T: We have over 30 artisans with us. On the customer side, we have about 120 business professionals buying from the marketplace, and well over 1,000 private customers—we like to call them « home enthusiasts. » We are obviously seeing good, healthy growth.

We started in Luxembourg, our home country, about 18 months ago. Now, we have launched in France, which is our first international expansion.

E.L: What did the « Fit 4 Start » programme bring to you?

Y.T: The ecosystem has been amazing. The programme overall is super well-structured, from the coaches to the jury and the professional experience they bring to the table. The wider ecosystem—with Luxinnovation, the LCI (Luxembourg City Incubator), and all the lunch-and-learns and training sessions—is incredibly well-managed and truly thriving.

E.L: What is the next step for Roaster Cup?

Y.T: We want to become the global infrastructure layer for the artisan economy. Simply put, our mission is to digitize the artisanal economy. We are one of the first movers in this space, and we are best positioned to continue growing here. There are obviously a few existing competitors, but what gives us a lot of confidence is that we are already seeing some artisans leave them to join us—even though those competitors have been around for a few years and are super well-funded. It really speaks to the differentiation of our model and how easy we make things for the artisans.

Scrioo

Ecorama Luxembourg: Can you sum up what Scrioo is?

Marco Felten: Scrioo is an AI-native solution for supplier risk monitoring—that is what we started with. But we have developed the platform further, and now we enable customers to monitor any stakeholder groups they are interested in, such as B2B customers, NGOs, or competitors. Our main technical achievement is that the platform is able to monitor thousands of companies in parallel.

E.L: Why was it important for Scrioo to participate in « Fit 4 Start »?

M.F: There were several reasons. It allowed us to gain visibility in online media and build new connections. Additionally, the coaching sessions were highly valuable for Jean-Luc and me; even though we already knew a few things from having founded companies before, it was a great support. Finally, we received around €150,000 in funding, which greatly helps with the development of the company.

E.L: What is the next step for Scrioo now?

M.F: This year’s motto is « product-market fit. » This means that while we already have paying customers, we now want to grow stronger. To achieve that, we are refining our unique messaging. Right now, when we talk to customers, they often put us into a specific box that we don’t always agree with. So, we are currently defining our core message and our main target groups.

E.L: Why is Luxembourg the best place to set up a startup?

M.F: As a German, I have to say Luxembourg has a really cool ecosystem. It’s a very international country with a lot of support. What I personally like very much is that you can talk to people at any hierarchy level. For example, we had appointments at ArcelorMittal and other large companies where we could genuinely talk straight to C-level executives. That is almost impossible in Germany; you would never get an appointment at that level there.

LeaseryT

Ecorama Luxembourg: Can you explain to us what LeaseryT is?

Rose Thattil Candeth (co-creator): LeaseryT is a platform that connects leasing companies with their B2B customers and dealers. It stitches together the entire leasing ecosystem onto a single platform. It enables companies with an employee fleet to make the best selection of corporate vehicles for their staff. It also features a module that automates and customizes the process for each user, allowing employees to configure and highly personalize their vehicles—all within the guardrails of the company policy.

It’s an end-to-end process that touches everyone, from the fleet manager to the employee driving the car, as well as the finance directors who care about optimizing costs through strong acquisition processes (saving money at the point of purchase). The tool helps make data-driven buying decisions and supports fleet managers in making the right choices.

Antonio Da Palma Ferramacho (co-creator): And it saves time. There are two types of savings here. First, it streamlines the process. Today, fleet management is very slow and manual; our tool structures and automates it by piecing together fully configured documents that can be read automatically. We estimate the time savings to be around 70%. On top of that time-saving—which easily pays for the tool itself—it also helps make the best choices to maximize savings on the vehicles selected, as Rose mentioned.

E.L: Are your clients based in Luxembourg, or do you have clients elsewhere?

Rose Thattil Candeth: We have a strong pipeline in Luxembourg and have already signed up some very prominent local corporate names. These clients also have an EU-wide presence.

Last year, we competed in the « Link2Fleet Forum & Awards. » Despite some very stiff competition, we won the Innovation Award in Belgium. So we currently have a presence in Belgium and Luxembourg, and we are soon expanding into the Netherlands. Our immediate focus is the Benelux region, followed closely by France and Germany. But yes, we have active, live clients right here in Luxembourg.

E.L: What else did « Fit 4 Start » bring to you?

Antonio Da Palma Ferramacho: It brought us a wealth of insights. We had a fantastic ecosystem of coaches and attended many expert sessions covering the entire entrepreneurial journey. We received coaching on finance, IP (intellectual property), go-to-market strategies, and product development. It was incredibly helpful because as an entrepreneur, you don’t always have a background that covers every single area. It was a great experience that gave us the tools to be truly ready.

Rose Thattil Candeth: It’s like having an executive board at an early stage, right when you need industry experts the most. They give you tough, honest feedback and robust methodologies. Coming from the business side of things, getting that feedback at the right time is what helps you accelerate so quickly, because you learn from the mistakes of others. That is a crucial value add of Fit 4 Start: you aren’t building alone. You have a full ecosystem behind you, and that is the key differentiator.

Antonio Da Palma Ferramacho: To add to that, the networking is phenomenal. It’s a fantastic place to connect with the Luxembourgish business ecosystem. As you know, Luxembourg is a bit like a village; word of mouth spreads very quickly, which is great for business.

E.L: How do you see the future for your firm?

Rose Thattil Candeth: We have a very solid go-to-market plan that has been validated by Fit 4 Start, along with the financial roadmap to back it up. We now have a strong foundation for broad expansion, not just within Benelux, but as I mentioned, into France, Germany, and the rest of the EU. Just yesterday, I was at London Tech Week. Interestingly, the UK offers very strong incentives—particularly in London—to incubate companies like ours and help them build a UK presence. We are still exploring that option as it’s very fresh news, but it sparked a great conversation. To answer your question: we are going to expand in quick, successive phases. This will depend on the strategic partnerships we strike along the way, which are our main focus for driving this phased roll-out.
